As they say in sport cream floats to the top and in this case it was Marcel who showed his class. With 2 wins and a hard fought 2nd he was by far the driver of the evening. Jonathan show in race three what nerves of steel are all about when he held off Marcel in a titanic struggle to take a well earned win. The Professor aka DJCruicky went on his merry way and still leads the points tables. New comer JJ showed great promise with the rest of the field fighting hard. You can read more detailed race reports in our forum here http://sr4l.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewforum&f=18 Thanks to all members who made the event a great one. if you want to find an emergency telephone or ambulance. Also shows the terrific changes of altitude.
Great. A race to need: - Lots of concentration. If your mind wanders a bit during those long straights you can realise you're already in the curve and have not yet started turning. Race ends here in a very nasty crash. - Patience. Don't try to overtake the car in font of you at all time. wait for the moment where you can take advantage of overtaking and being able to take a little gap so the other car won't catch your slipstream amd then pull away from him. - Ballocks. Tu turn at some curves without releasing your throttle and going too close to fences and houses. A just little early turn entry or just a little late and you crash at top speed destroying your car.
Thankyou nikos , i thought you'd like it, it's close to one of the pictures you posted here on the forums.
Wise words right there! Take your time, plan and wait for the person in front to make a mistake ......maybe. This will be a fun race
Hoping to join you for this...if I am very lucky I may just pick up the 2 points for finishing...though current testing by this dyed in the wool tin top driver suggests otherwise.
Good fun tonight, a podium in my first race...heh considering I couldn't do two consecutive laps last week in a Spark at Spa I'm delighted...of course it took a couple of drivers to crash out but like they say, you gotta be in it to win it...or in my case come third LOL Cheers Nicos I'm glad you talked me into it
