Apex Modding GT3 - 2012 (v1.09 )

I managed to run a few laps in the SLS and I think it's a very promising start. Great work on all the liveries (FIA GT3, Blancpain, ADAC etc).

I'd really like to know which other cars are planned for this mod. As many as possible hopefully. All the manufacturers taking part in the various GT3 series would be fantastic.
 
One thing, it seems to want to gobble resources and takes a big fps chunk off my normal settings

But it's wip so hopefully will get better
 
This is a great car, really impressed with the physics and feel. You really have to drive it cleanly, Very good job.

One issue i have is that when i try to make a mod with this car for online use, i only get one livery show up (the red 24 hours spa one). Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

I have high hopes for this mod after trying this car, it's going to be a serious mod with excellent physics from what i can see.

I got the same reports from other people, so it might be something with class names for this car. We will check that. Thanks.

Same issue here ,when making a vmod the names are not clear , with an already crowded list of components in my install I was un able to determine a talent file , i did find the sounds under an FIA v 86 name and the car under GT3 v 86 but i never found a talent file ?? .. The vmod works but only the red car shows up ... Being the first look at an early release it would be nice if the next release's could have a common name for all the components so they are easier to find in the ever growing rf2 component list ! ?

for the moment the same technic than on rfactor1 work perfectly : the server and the computer need to have tracks and car installed , you just need to know the ip of the server for join and play online

Agree, when using the Oculus Rift it is even more a problem, because even with max seat position I am looking into my shoulder (not over) when looking left or right.
 
This car has really nice sounds.

Not sure if I'm the biggest fan of rubberband ffb but it's fun to drive nevertheless.

I never select any of the sound or talent files etc. when making a vmod. Never had a problem.
 
There is no talent file for the car, as it's not required for online racing. The problem with only one car available is already fixed, so the next release will be OK (also, some other issues will be fixed as well).
