If your using rF2 beta i don't think Apex works all that great atm , were awaiting a update for this mod , having said that last i tried they still all loaded fine .
I'll load them up now and see . BBS.

Sorry Mate , cant help you , worked fine on my end although the brake lights are looking really odd on the Merc .
Try GT3 world series by Simtek although not updated yet still actually work quite well .

Gents,
I am fairly new to RF2 on steam and previously added packages the old way.
I have subscribed to this Apex Mod and RF2 is telling me that the 799 has "failed verification"
anyone got any ideas?

I've had that a few times with various mods. I think it's when you get a dodgy download. Just download it again and retry

I started the sim and it sorted itself out.
So now I got a chance to drive the 799 (997).
