SOLVED Ambient Sound 1.0b error

    When I'm trying to start rFactor 2 singelplayer I get this message "Core component Ambient Sounds 1.0b is missing, invalid or damaged. Unable to continue. Please reinstall rFactor2". I've tried several times to reinstall it, both the content install and the lite install. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Every time I have seen that error, installing the lite over the installation fixed it. Someone else said restarting their machine did it.

    The problem was solved by running the .exe as administrator.
