Just for $hits n giggles, I decided to install rF2 on my surfing PC. A lowly e4400 core duo, running@ 2.0, with an ati 4850. Totally amazed I am able to run with a decent frame rate.. and med to hi settings.

Reminds me of rF1...we had that running on a Duron with on board video...it was playable......but just :)

To be fair you have the taxing things like shadows and reflections turned off so it's no suprise it runs, good for you though.

And smooth I might add...and at the moment shadows don't seem to do anything but kill frame rates on full, as there isn't even a shadow under the cars.

Something wonky going on with shadows.

When my 7950 shows up I'll tell you the difference in my FPS and your experiment. It probably won't be much. lol. :p
