With the recent release of the Dallara IR-18 in rF2, I was wondering the Alternative Start/Finish lines could be possible in the future. Indycar uses this to reduce traffic during qualifyings, as usually the Alt. S/F is located before the pit entry (For example, Indy GP one is before T12) And yes, probably this could be doable now with the same logic as the Nordschleife shortcut "hack", by using duplicated "xfinish" gmts, but a proper object for this subject would be better
That could be possible now already, with using VisGroups for the different X-Object Meshes. But it of course must be tested.
