Interesting .. that could very well be the result of the recent changes. I'll take a look. The alpha channel isn't used to hide that particular seam, so I'm guessing it's an issue that can pop up when blending.
It's the same issue as here : http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/5661-Real-road-issue?p=68787&viewfull=1#post68787 I thought it's different alpha channel but I think it can be different fresnel specular settings.
I had the same issue with different speculars settings. If the issue is correlated with the sunlight angle is a specular issue for sure...
Whatever it is, it's no longer happening on my system. The latest changes to gMotor have probably taken care of it .
