When I want to set up my own event off line, I go to series, then have to select all cars and tracks. When I do that, it stays there forever! I mean a very very long time. Sometimes it will load, I guess if I'm patient enough to wait a ridiculously long time. In the series I see every car and track combination that I have run on line with my league. But if I want to set up something offline and unique, I'm screwed. Anyone else with this issue? How do I fix it?
it IS loading ALL the Tracks and ALL the cars. Depending upon your hardware, this may take some time. It does, however, appear to be taking longer than normal. My install has 86 tracks & 185 cars,( I cut back a few months ago) and it takes less than 4 seconds to swap from a Comp Series event back to All tracks & cars. (I have one of those NVME ? stick hard drives. But even with my old Seagate, it wasn't much more than 10 seconds I'd guess.) You might want to exit rF2 and verify the files in Steam.
Delete your ........\rFactor 2\UserData\player\all_vehicles.ini file. The game will make a new one. See if that makes things better.
