I haven't played rfactor2 for serveral weeks. Yesterday I noticed AI gets stuck at the start of a race, Anybody knows what's happening? Thanks EDIT: Solved deleting AI settings in rfactor ui, thanks!
There's been some issues with the AI in the latest update. It's being fixed. Anyway, troubleshooting would be easier knowing track, cars and AI settings.
@diegopl2 Like @Manfredk2 and @Bernat did already do it, i also ask ........ In such Cases, some more detailed Info is needed, like: Does it happen with all Cars on all Tracks? If not, with which Car exactly on which Track exactly did it happen? And which kind of Start did you use, standing, rolling....
I've had that happen if I start a race and then stop it by hitting the Escape key. Then choosing to restart the race from the dialog box that appears on the screen. However, when that box appears, I can return to the main UI window and select restart race there and the race will restart without the AI getting stuck. I posted this a few months ago. I should add it was the Gen3 FEs at Berlin with rolling starts.
Hi again, sorry for my late reply. I hapen to me in any car-track combo I've tried (BTCC, GT3, laguna seca, monza, brand hatchs). If I start a practice the AI start doing donuts on pit. The AI that manages to enter to the track goes at a very slow speed, all of them, in the same way happens if I start a race. Is there any parameter I can restore? Thanks
the ususal first tipp: rename the rfactor2/userdata folder and let RF2 generate a new one and then look if it works
It is just me or AI is slow at Parabolica? I tried some cars, like Porsche 992 Cup, and GT3's. It is faster in Lesmos and slow at the last corner.
I keep on having these AI issues, what is supposed to be the very last build? They have deployed a hotfix recently, what option do I have to choose in steam? Beta? starndard? Release candidate? Thanks
Damm, standard is the build I have downloaded, I will have to search for a work around... EDIT: Solved reseting AI settings
