    1. Title: AI qualifying time issue

      Type: Bug Report

Describe Your Issue: When you do qualifying then click in finish session or next session unrealistic times are set by 5 to 8 so, generally 5 to 6 seconds faster than everyone else, this does not happen if you let qualifying go through naturally to the end of the session. It happens on all tracks that I have tried, official content.
Steps to Reproduce: do your q laps then click finish or next session

      Images or Screeshots:

      I Agree: you bet

That's not really a bug, more like game design. If you want realistic times then in stead of finishing a session try fast forwarding through it.

Why would it be a feature to have unrealistic lap times?

It's always been like that, solution is to not skip or finish the session but to use time acceleration and let the AI finish qualifying properly then more realistic times are set.

not really a bug no, as skipping or clicking Finish doesn't give the AI a chance to actually drive proper laps so the game needs to generate "rough" times for each AI. As I said it's been this way since the beginning, the best solution is to let Qualifying run as normal or Time Accelerate.

even with time acceleration I've seen silly laptimes the only true way to keep the times realistic is do the whole session. Do a stint then make a cup of brew!! Lol

It just seems weird, I have never noticed this in other sims. Even if they have to generate times you would think they would be similar to the rest of the ai

There's too many variables the AI deal with to just be able to simulate a session "realistically" in a split second. Even the speed of time acceleration is largely influenced by how powerful your cpu is, whuch i think shows there's a lot going on in the background. If it's too slow you can try turning on the full standings display in order to get rid of the TV display, it does help.
