For some reason, I cannot see the AI when I am in a single-player race?? They show-up in replays if I click on the AI name, but if I watch a replay of myself, I only see myself (just like when driving). I have tried making the number of cars visible smaller than the number of AI, equal to it and more than...same result. I can also not hear the AI...but they do show up in the HUD, so I know when they are passing me (or driving through me!). Very strange...everything else, including multiplayer online, seems to be working. If this is an intended situation, sorry. I read the SimHQ review praising the new AI and assumed that meant they are in there. Thanks for any help/suggestions.
DO you maybe have Private Practice set to ON? Shouldn't make a difference, but there could be a bug there perhaps. If it's ON try turning it off and see what happens. If this was on and you saw this during a practice session then it makes complete sense...
Scott - that fixed it must be a bug. I saw ai drivers in the race but they were invisible on the replay. Turned private practice off and they now show up in the replays.
