Known issues
-Apply IBL / PBR shader to WCCARBODY only. Not applied to WC EXTRA.
-Collision detection is not perfect. Be careful of bumpers to bumpers.
-No Driver animation.
-No Wiper animation.
-No Windscreen rain effect.
-Selecting a wet tire does not change the tire tread texture.

When is this expected to be fixed? Specially the collision, because these cars are made for close racing

Unfortunately, the outlook is uncertain.
As far as collisions are concerned, the front bumper may be buried in the rear bumper at the time of contact because the contact judgment is not assigned to the rear bumper. It is possible to do a bump draft like any other mod.

 

Are we also going to have left hand driving position (as an option) ? Is this on plans?

Haha i know yes. It just feels awkward to have my gear shifter on my right side and drive a right seated car

@I_Bellett In November 2021, i opened a private Conversation with you, where i offered to help with the animated Wipers, but i never got a Reply.
Maybe you missed it?
The offer still stands and i can check some other Things too.

After trying this mod with recent update i have to say it's a blast to drive and to race with it, reminded me of the fun i had with it in rF1, great job guys!

But please finish those details missing in the car so we can race in the wet too for example! This mod deserves to be finished, for sure there are a lot of modders out there that might help with that task

Yeah, @Haris1977 it's a shame, this mod is HUGE if everything could be put in place...

 

I think the 2 main issues are the collision one + the wiper animation / windscreen no rain effect

If those can be fixed, only a few minor things will remain

 

Exactly, if those 2 VERY IMPORTANT items could be checked this mod will be usable for proper racing
