Hi guys, To make a long story short; I want to reinstall my system and off course, I want to play rF2 again (as also rF1 btw). Now I know in the "old days" of rF1, you'd have to save the trymedia folder and put it back in in the new install........ Is such a thing the case with rF2 now? What do I have to do for this to make it work? And the second question; rF1; I can't seem to find the trymedia folder anymore? You guys know where it went? I am installing W7 x64 enterprise; the same I had. Please give me some clue's. P.S. for those guys with who I race online; it could be that the next 6 months you don't see me
Think you just have to backup your C:\Users\[USER NAME]\AppData\Roaming\.rFactor folder.... Then backup your settings folder (usually in my documents, but can be customised when you install the game) to save setups, config etc
To find the rf2 info you need look in username/appdata/roaming/.rfactor (win7) for rf1 (on my rig) i find the trimidea folder on this path ,Computer/Local Disk( C : ) / program data/trimidea (win7) hope this helps . also try here for reinstall tips, http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/3626489.html good luck!
