@Devin @Alex Sawczuk @Coutie @John Ratcliff (i don't know who can help in this Case ) I know it was wished in the Past already, but i can not find it anymore. And i think it's the right Moment to repeat that Wish, because the Multiplayer currently gets an Overhaul. When you click "join" for a Multiplayer Server and don't have all Content that is used on it (we still can not see the whole Content that a Server uses), the download of the missing Content starts immediately. I and also others i think, would like to see the List, with the Content that shall be downloaded, being displayed and 2 Buttons "Accept" and "Deny", with that we can decide if we want to get that being downloaded or not. As it is now, it can happen that you get a lot of Content downloaded, especially Cars, that you never have driven and also don't want and never will drive. And the only Way to stop that, is to hit Alt+F4 and then you have to delete the already downloaded rfcmp Files from your Packages Folder. I would really appreciate, to have the Choice, if i want to get anything being downloaded or not.
Yes i agree i wanted on my side a "stop update" button or "quit update" button because it take too much time to download missing content depending the server bitrate and you can not do anything else in game. In some menu, there is "Skip update" button (first screen before main menu) but not in every menus that it can be needed(in case of downloading) thanks for considering those requests because we get stuck in menus and can not drive.
Instead of a button to stop why not a list of content that you need to download and ask before start: "Do you want to download these items? Click YES to proceed or NO to go back to previous menu"
Happens to me too sometimes, especially when a Thread has 10+ Sites, where i'm too lazy, to read all Posts then.
