I'm with you there, although waiting can really be hard at times. We as a community should not want to force ISI's hand to make a bad decision. I hear you, I always thought NR2003 graphics were a lot better than rFactor, that's what kept me away for so long. But once I got it, I never went back. You're right, the platform is awesome, that's what makes rFactor one of the , if not THEE greatest racing simulator around, in my opinion. sf4JC
Yes, the platform. I would have definitely gone back to NR2003, or maybe not even left it if it weren't for that.
I can wait for the release of a 95% "finished" rFactor 2....since the original is such a great sim that I'm not tired of yet.. I would not like to have to deal with installation issues or crashes during the game before it is released. But like I said, the original is still a hoot... Mike
I've promised myself a new GPU and CPU when rF2 becomes available, but it's been over a year of waiting, so I'll probably at least upgrade the GPU within 6 months. Meanwhile, I really want rF2 to be as solid as it can be, so please, ISI, take your time in doing it right.
