I have made som overlays which can be used combined or individually. Combined gives quite a handfull of information. they are kept in same color palette. I use them as overlays and they have been devided in to 7 overlays (due to size restrictions) download here www.vgraphics.dk/temp/Overlay.zip https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/1-simhub-overlay-in-7-parts-with-alot-of-information.30670/ From left to right: 1. "Radar" which only lights up red when cars are really nearby 2. "Main Livemap" with sector colors 3. "Main left" Position, lap, time. Last/best lap and personal record Fuel calculation and oil/water temp (for those cars where it works) 4. "Main middle" Speedo, rpm brake/speeder indicator light/pitlimiter/DRS on off status 5. "Main right" Last sector times vs best sector times (cant figure out to update before lap ends) Brake bias, TC, ABS Air, Track temp. 6. "Main tires" (modded - RRCD original) tire wear, temp, pressure laps left in tire (compared to last lap wear) Brake temp 7. "Main leaderboard" (Modded - Ciccina2016 original) Top 3 driver and lap times your position your relative position (good when driving in multiclass) Missing features I cant figure out... how to show the "virtual/ingame time"? how to show number of pits and and tire information of opponents in leaderboard?
Thanks for these Thomas, I've imported the radar. Is there a way to stop it showing the red part? It seems to stay on and is too dark so it covers the car up. SS
the radar and livemap, will be functional when you have taken a few laps. I just made this youtube video to show how it works. See it fully functional at 3:20. (Dont mind the driving was not concentrated on that part)
If you dont want the red part at all, you can edit the overlay and delete those 2 red images. You can also adjust the transparensy of the background if its too dark
Hi there, I download the link and instal the folders in simhub. But i can't see them in overlays. I instal the folder like these ; - open simhub - gameconfigurator - open instructions - paste the folders there maby some help pls.
copy the folders into the simhub folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\SimHub\DashTemplates then open simhub and go to Dash Studio, then in topmenu Overlays, you can see them. Create a Overlay layout and add those overlays you want to use. you can scale them to you needs. If you downloaded from the link in this thread, there proberly is a newer one at https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/1-simhub-overlay-in-7-parts-with-alot-of-information.30670/ I have made another version which I havent released duo to still finetuning it.
These are very useful, thanks. Quick question though - is it easy/possible to (re)use these as SimHub Dash objects rather than just overlays? I’ve got a VoCore display on its way and would like the option of running them on that...
Just unclick, Overlay dash (will start in overlay mode by default), from Dashboard tab, from the upper right corner, after opening the overlay for editing.
Loving the overlays! Only problem, which isn't really a problem; is there a way so that when a value is "null" it instead just doesn't display anything or rather an empty string? Not sure if this is something the overlay can do or it'd need to be in the plugin/simhub? Thanks!
