Sorry, i don´t have a clue about this. Didn´t know why i reply in first place. I think, at these stage of rf2 development and all the problems it´s to early to someone of the staff give you a reply about that. But for sure, sooner or later, modders will do it if there isn´t official content.
Same here. A full season requires all tracks. ISI shouldnt really invest on this imho, as modders will eventually fill the gap and provide us with tracks, Ferraris!!!, Lotuses!!! and everything!!! (just hung on!)
Mmm... a full 60`s season done by ISI would be very cool. Not saying the modders couldn`t do it and do it great justice but I`d like to see how ISI would do it.
Some seriously good stuff will come from modders & from sure ISI as some already has but I agree -leave it to the modders & let ISI concentrate on supplying a cutting edge software engine/platform And getting it to gold as soon as possible dare I mention 0-:
Yeh that`s a good point too... Still, considering the fantastic content ISI has given us already I do think they`d make a great job of it.
Yes, but ISI cannot/shouldnt put a yellow horse on my wheel as its insanely expensive, while modders can...
No they don't.........for a start Toban has never been a F1 circuit, what's this thing with Toban?...........they're going the right way IMO doing all the classic 60's F1 tracks first.
ISI has said that they are going to represent all the tracks from a mid-60's Formula racing season. Or tracks that would have been run, but since they don't have an F1 license, it'll be the tracks from that period anyway. ISI has mentioned on the forums that rF2 is not going to be like rF1 in that the game will come with a huge amount of ISI created content and a full series to start with. rF1 came with a few cars, a hand full of tracks and that was it. rF2 is going to be less like a sandbox racer more like the old school racers that came with a lot of official content but are moddable as well.
I dont remember this. If it is so, its very, very nice!! Are you sure though? That means that eventually they will have to do Nords and I remember Tim saying they are not going to.
I indeed believe they haven't stated this!!! As far as I remember they said that they would have cars and track of all periods, not all cars and tracks of one period. Besides, if it was true, then why do they have the spark and the eve, and not the official cars???
They cant have the official cars as some licencing is more expensive than they are prepared to spend. They ARE licensing more affordable brands, as they have allready (Brabham, Renaults, F2 etc).
