60's F1 fun races #4 re-do?

Can we try this again now that we've had a week to get b118 going? Kknorpp can you host?

Here's what we had for time:

noon USA Pacific
1500 USA Eastern
1700 GMT-3
2000 GMT
2100 GMT+1

Track was Croft but whatever the host wants to put up is fine with me.

 

2100 GMT+1 is great. i vote for nordschleife (even if probably a big challenge with 60's F1). croft would be nice too

Server called, '1960's All cars @ Nords'

Setup is,

45 mins Practise
45 mins Qualify
2 or 3 lap race?

Just got the track installed. Great addition!

Pluginz, at start time please set it up for a 30 minute qualy and 2 lap race with damage set very low (zero?). We should practice prior to start time. Thanks.

Edit: Make it a 2 lap race. So those knocked out don't have to wait too long to go again. We can repeat with more 2 lap races .

10 minutes to race time... i can't connect to server. I had a good connection 45 minutes ago but not now. I am able to join other servers.

 

Same 'Connection failed'

I'm not sure where pluginz is. He was online but left the practice about an our ago

 

Just read about this event, but can't connect either

 

Unless someone else can step up to host I think this is a bust.

 

I had problems connecting too, finally got in without changing anything. Seems to be server side.

Solved this problem before by restarting my router, doubt it will help this time with so many experiencing the same but worth a shot.

the server was working without a problem the whole afternoon and evening.
unfortunately there was a connection problem at race time (i was logged in and saw a lot "? removed, no answer from client" messages).

good thing is, pluginz was so kind to make me a nice Spark F1 setup, and with the additional practice time i am feeling now more confident to not die immediately on the green hell

i am hoping for a retry for this event, even practice was a lot fun!

 

Oh no!!! What a pain in the back side. Im just home. Im really sorry all about the connetion problems, i cant see why its happening ?!? It would be nice if you could just leave these things running and not get any probs, shame. Maybe some settings need to be modified? Does anybody have any suggestions?
