The only problem I had with the new version is not being able to see the Rubber/marble or each road material. But we can edit it directly in material editor for pbr material This tool is really worthy of it price. Especially when you do add edit materials/object. Like replacing sponsoring
Does this work for swapping wheels from one car to another as well? I know how to swap a wheel, but the swapped wheel doesn't end up at the right position.
If you move it to the correct Position in 3DSimEd, you have to set the Pivot Point to 0,0,0 or to the proper Position, before you export the Mesh. It depends a little bit on the Method, how you move/position it.
Can you explain what these methods are? There isn't a lot of documentation around that explains it in a way that I can understand. Thanks for your time!
In 3DSimEd, i would do it in this Way: - import the old Wheel as an Object (File -> Import as Objects) - import the new Wheel as a Mesh (just import) and click "Ctrl+C" in its Window. - go to the Window with the old Wheel and click "Ctrl+V" to paste it there - move it to the proper Position and click the green Checkmark (close) in the "Modification"-Window, when finished - go to "Edit" -> Face Data Attributes, set the Pivot Point to 0.0.0 and click OK - go to "Export" -> rFactor 2 -> Save rFactor2 Model (NOT Save rFactor2 Objects!) - done That should work. If you still have Problems, report again here.
@SharD I did record a short Video, that might help you, to position Parts like Tires, Rims... a bit more precise.
