Yep, no mirrors. I know, you`re saying, this track is for online use only, but a lot of rF2 dirvers are using rF2 offline, too....
Well of course you can race versus IA, but they will never take the bonus section. rFactor 2 is not currently designed for this, maybe with a plugin it would be possible I dont know. For the mirrors, a friend said me it may be a problem with the safety car. Envoyé de mon A0001 en utilisant Tapatalk
Looks fun Gijs, is it possible to test the car ? As we here at FFSCA have a RX championship on rF1 and are interested to switch on rF2 in 2017, it would be a good start for Supercars I think
Whoops, It seems i removed the video. Here is a new one: @Caterkiller: did you got the PM about the track?
Hi Gijs, yes thanks good update I think, I'll give it for testing to my friends. Sorry for the late answer I have been very busy these days. I'll probably release this version very soon. Anyway, I'd like to find why mirrors are not working before releasing an update, if someone has an idea... I tried too your WRX Clio, not a bad start but the car has massive oversteer with default setup. Anyway I didnt tried to modify the setup on the car, watching your last video it seems way better than with my test. Both the track and the car still needs I think but I'm quite sure dirt racing is possible in rF2
I've got a new version of the car. The oversteer is due to: - The massief tire heat buid up after 1 lap: It's reduced. - Gear ratio was to big for your track: End ratio is adjustable now. But on downshift you can use the clutch or blip the throttle to avoid rear lockups and stablize the car. (You'll notice the "lockups" on the tire surface-temps with the "old" car version.) - The car has a soft suspension and weight transfers to the front. Propper braking is required especially on faster tracks. Stiffen up the suspension is more stable but is slower on bumpy, softer, twisty tracks. - with the CPM: softer tire presure has a big impact on griplevels on gravel surface. - real road: you'll notice in the video that the track has more rubber upon its surface. BTW: The car has more power now. But is still need to do a few things...
I have done a basic conversion of the Renault Maxi 5 turbo Standalone v1.3 I am looking for DrGroove, Yoss, AngeEve or anyone associated with the car from the HRC mod for rF1, any help would be appreciated so I can release it and perhaps get some help with some small graphical bugs that I can't address as I have no 3d modelling skill. It drives great... pretty mental ! There was a lot of low poly stuff, especially in the cockpit, like the seats, so I added a fair bit of stuff from the ISI Clio... Thanks boblevieux, I spoke to yoss on fb and contacted drgroove. I have permission but the car still needs a lot of work.
