I dont even have an AIW file yet, it crashes on me when I add 1st pit path so I was trying to make sure the timing planes worked to eliminate possible causes.
ok, I have a trackside tree that the polygon sticks out through the wall. SCN has it tagged non-collidable as does the GMT exporter, yet i can hit it in dev mode. I do have it assigned to a reflect plane. What else can cause that?
I moved the tree. Other issues: My track loads in dev mode but crashes in game. I think it may be the 1st pit extension path i made so I'll test it without it. Are those still a manual edit in order to get them in game? (wp_branchID edit??) Some materials are not updating no matter what I do. Its like its not even making the changes in max.
I didnt re-find corridors after adding it so maybe thats it, but i'll go back and redo it, i made a backup before adding it.
fixed the pit lane issue. 1. Add the 2nd path as 2nd pit lane. make sure you drive it ending near pit lane 1. save 2. connect 2 waypoints in pit lane to each other (end of 2nd pit path and any point in pit1 path). save 3. Quit. edit AIW file. Search for wp_branchID=(2), replace with wp_branchID=(1). save. That should work.All my garage paths on that new path were working. havent tried it in game, only dev mode so far. Fixed 1 building. have a few track material not showing up right still. Had to remove all old dds files from all folders in the race folder before it saw the new ones i made.
Fixed a yellow sidewalk material, turns out since its the side of a road, it has to be named ROAD_SIDEWALK or else it shows up yellow.

@boxer, I just tried it and it worked for me with Apex Mod GT3 cars. Two suggestions. 1) Make sure you have Doug's latest version. v1.14 at the time of this writing. And begin with a private practice session. No AI, not online. Get that one car working and them move up to more. Good luck.
