Any word on whether you'll be able to resume the free work, or has it been shut down for good and we must wait for something else to be communicated?
Well even if it takes a while i'm sure it's worth the wait. Looked nice even in the first steam upload even if physics weren't finished. It looked like it had a lot of work put into it.
If I could place a bet I would say that S397 has their hands on the license for the new Indycar and as Coutie is quite far with his model they came into talks. Well at least thats what I would hope for anyway.
Everything just connects.. Coutie stops with this mod Portland is announced to be released before labour day weekend in US (Septemter 3) Indycar Portland race is on September 2 Now we just need Half Life 3.
It was Jan 2018 roadmap where it was said the track was licenced and will be released free before the race. Also, Coutie released an awesome version of the track, so I'm wondering if its that track as a 3PA or something we will be getting?
Is the 2018 mod on [removed] this one? That one is amazing but weird that's it has not been posted here? Edit: removed website
Oh, was worried it'd be something like that. that's not nice, I guess I'll wait until you actually release it. Looked very very good so far though .
don't you realize that this mod won't be released ? (at least not officially) that s397 very certainly pulled the plug on it
If you allow me the comment: The story begins with the publication in Steam of the mod created by Coutie, after subscribing in workshop the mod is downloaded but when trying to load it in the game the mod breaks. People start making the comment but the problem is not solved, then a person finds the solution and publishes it, letting the author know. As of that moment the link with the solution is eliminated and the initial mod disappears from Steam.
I haven't really been following all of this but I've seen this suggestion earlier, that's just weird to me though, even if they have a indycar 2018 dlc coming.
S397 killed it just like they did the free version of Sebring. Thankfully they can both still be found by those who know where to look.
