Thats fantastic cars, thank you. I think there was version of this cars for rF1, I liked them very much. Checked quickly, internal engine sounds are very muffled, like high frequencies are cut off. Tire sounds almost not audible, very low volume. No tire sound when locking tires. But drives very good.
These F5000 cars have never been released for rF1, other years were used for rF1. I will look into the sounds for the next version. Thanks.
Car behaves good. The sound is also good. As mentioned above some sound details are missing but u are definitely on the right way. Gesendet von meinem GT-I9301I mit Tapatalk
great news, i love this historic cars thanks stdave! p.s. searching for info of this cars, i found this scared crash at St Jovite
Thanks stdave. I was hoping you would bring your skills to rF2. The AI and I had fun around Toban this afternoon.
Thank you for sharing this early because the driving experience is wonderful! Sound impressions as noted by others above. Onboard is kind of muddy. Internal and external are at their best in the upper rev range. Idle doesn't mix into non-idle smoothly and has a dropout. Framerates are good. Modeling is good, textures would benefit from tweaking for HDR (e.g. blacks don't match on instruments and tires too light) and baked shadows (e.g. exhaust pipes). From the outside, M10A has texture flickering towards the front of the cabin and just behind the firewall. Tires appear very polygonal (smoothing group?). AI performance is unpredictable at 100% difficulty and 50% aggression. They struggle to complete laps at Lime Rock (no chicanes), yet match my laptimes. On Silverstone GT, they're 4-5 seconds slower than I am, but stay on the track. But, oh, the driving experience! Yes, good default setup that drives well for me. Far better out-of-the-box experience than most other historic cars. Upshifts have that slight rev-match thingie going on when shifting too quickly with an H-shifter, but it's no where near as severe as the Howston G4/G6.
