I'm now closer to 50 than 49! I'm not sure how that compares to you. I had a look at the replay and I should have waited to move over on the straight. Once my worn tyres left the track I was a passenger and slid back onto the track right in front of Robert C and Marcel. Once again, I'm sorry for the accident, I'll try to be better next time

 

Oh to be in my 40's again!! 56 here.. Still think its a confidence thing with your pace.. Run extra wing and aim for consistency then worry about time gains.. If your looking for more track time with good clean drivers that are more than willing to help out jump on simracingaustralia servers. Doesn't conflict with the Asiarf2 events.

 

@Gonzo - How do you see how much brakes u have left? I was playing with braking maps just now..

map 8 gives the best braking but of course at some price.

 

Well, i was unable to see it, i just felt how first the front right broke, shortly after the front left and in the end both rears.
You can see that at the temps. If you lost the brake, its not heating anymore then.

 

I see. Okay i thought u had rfynhud or somekind. Im using the trackmap plugin and it didn show the brakes status.

Yup was using it back in rf1 and it shows how much brakes u have left.

And yeah ull know ur brakes r going with longer braking distance.

I played with forced view yesterday and some are not liking it. So ive reset it to no forced view.

Anyway, I got back to my original playseat configuration, also managed to adjust the wheel angle, so hoping for some better results lol

I got a 'connection lost' when i got on the grid. Managed to rejoin but the 'Race' button is greyed out. Not sure why.

Was feeling really down coz I was really looking forward for this race. Great track and flow and immersion

But was re-paid with great racing from the guys. The top 4 guys fought it to the very end. only few seconds between them when theyve done with their stops.



I saw u rejoined few times, Wut happened? Even saw you reversed to the tire barrier once. Steering prob again?

I tapped the wall at one point. Rejoined, due to long pit stop, but I should have repaired as the rejoining put me 8 laps down. Then I got tapped when I moved to the outside to let a faster car through and that lost the backend of the car, so no point crawling back to the pits to secure 10th place.

Maybe you need to crash the game before rejoining after a connection lost?

As to my paint job, I am enjoying doing skins. I used Traveller's program from this thread

I really like Cam's skin given New Zealand are talking about changing their flag . His is very topical

 

It was a recovery drive race for me.
Pace was only decent but with high tire degradation, had to do 3 stops, 2 stints with primes and 1 on options, couldn't make a confortable setup for this track, got buttseck then hit the wall losing my front wings. Overall still satisfied with what I could salvage.

Won't be able to make it for Spa but will hopefully be back for Sepang, and then its Monza, damn I miss racing at Monza, been quite a while.

When you mentioned that I just knew what that could mean. I tried it and as expected, my g27 turns into a jack hammer every time I pass Eau Rouge lol.
Already maxed FFB smoothing but clipping is still there, and I don't want to decrease FFB strength as it would get too weak overall, so I will just have to be patient
