Totally agree! There is so much going on, that it makes other sims feel boring. And I cant hear the moaning about no grip. If driven right, i am sometime scared going through bends full throttle! And along with the excellent ffb on my T500 its mind blowing!
Im glad to see finally also some post that is not hating everything, i love how you can actually feel the levels of grip changing for example in Civic when you are going only on edges of two wheels, the grip is significantly lower as the contact patch is so much smaller, and all this is calculated realtime and every degree of camber matters! I love rF2
I'm also happy to see this thread and hope Mr. Groenig will see it as well and know that his hard work is highly appreciated.
How so? Yesterday I did a 60 min. race @ Putnam with ISI's vette and didn't see anything that caught my eye as an issue.
Well, you just replied when I was checking for a reply. Are you saying you prefer the Reiza F3 to the MAK F3? They're very similar, either way.
Who the F cares? Heaven forbid I come to the ISI forums and talk about how much "I/We" like the tire model. God, you want to argue what is best go to virtualr or reddit FFS!!!! The number of F'in trolls around here is ridiculous.
I agree the tire model is awesome in rF2. Especially the visual wear, something I've NEVER seen another sim accomplish and to such a high level.
Do you get those temps on our recent tracks as well? 100C would be real life at Le Mans, but it's not our content to know of the cause.
the only thing i always found weird is how high they go on the lock up or spin on grass or other slippery surface, it almost looks like the temprature goes up at the same rate no matter how much friction does the spinning or locking generate
