ISR i'am a little bit confused which track are you doing the RF1 version or the track that Mianiak has worked on which is light years ahead of the the RF1 version.?
This is a conversion of ISI's RF1 version and ISR just posted it "without permission". The conversion was made without the knowledge that Isi's tracks could be converted since a general permission was given for it. Thats the reason for the author not opening a thread which now he cannot edit its first post since somebody else opened it first. I would be glad if nobody except for the author of the content could open a thread in this subforum to avoid confussion. Enviado desde mi GT-I9505 usando Tapatalk 2
Hi guys, i've released later i thougth, but it's finally here The Real road is well implemented and the start and pit lights work fine. It's possible that exist bugs, but i think that will be minor bugs. The link is in this thread Sorry for the delay and enjoy it.
i would say this track - a good base to start for work on it.. )) curbs - too bumpy - ai goes crazy on them, jumping as devils)))
I'm interested to know this too. You would think that Mianiak's version would be the best base for Nurburgring GP in rF2.
The only work of Mianiak was to publish a work in progress version of our conversion of the ISI track. That was a private test version. The first public release is in this thread. Edited: This port is not true. I apologize of it here.
Sorry for delay in my response but Mianiak's track don't look anything like yours or eny rf1 conversion View attachment 10290 View attachment 10291 View attachment 10292 View attachment 10293 View attachment 10294 . I think lagg is confusing names. Mianiak is a great modder and he did not publish lagg's conversion. Someone called ISR did it wothout permission and disappeared afterwards. Enviado desde mi GT-I9505 usando Tapatalk now Free
No worries lagg, these things happen. Those shots above are pretty old shots of the track too, I got the bug back recently and have been putting a lot of time onto it. I'm just working on a few more things and hopefully have it ready soon. Here are some renders Some viewer pics (none of the track itself, cause atm I'm working on textures for the grass and track and things look really ugly at this stage) Just keep in mind that theses are WIP's and aren't finalised. ring°racer
Amazing stuff man. I won't be surprised though if I turn on my computer and have no screen, open it up only to find empty PCI-E slots and a note from my graphic cards saying "We give up man. We didn't know life with you was going to be so hard. Hope you find the love your looking for. Best regards, 7870's" The level of detail looks amazing, also looks quite demanding.
She'll be right mate rF2 processes poly's quite well, it's the materials and textures where the resources go. Infact, all the buildings have sofar come in under budget, plus I still need to do another optimisation pass once they are all finished. But don't worry, I won't let it out if it doesn't perform well (or should I say, until it performs well).
Btw mianiak... you should start your own thread for your track as this one was started by the ghostly ISR... Having your own thread would make things easier to follow imo.
What,,, another Nürburg GP thread? When the time is right, this way its still not officially a wip and remains a personal project, once the wip thread starts, the pressure mounts
Clever attitude mianiak. Opening a thread always arises some pressure and implies answering to people questions and suggestions which is something that at certain stage can be negative especially when lack of time or mood makes you stop in the project for a while.
