When I logged on to multiplayer this morning it was necessary for me to enter my email and password data... As a check I logged off the game, and even though I had checked the remember box, the game refuses to remember the login. Every time I log off of the game it is necessary for me to login in order to have online access. Looks like a bug to me. I have a lifetime license.

Another fault just noted. The GMotor2 Mas File Utility fails when building a mod... I have created many Mods successfully in the past. Another bug since this update.
no problems here... no manual login required, and i just registered a new vmod, works same as it always did.
Just jumped on our league server and we no longer have our nicknames either. Still there in player file but using real names now.
I don't think we're "since the update" yet. There'll probably be a few issues until the dust has settled in a day or two.
Seems I've now lost the multiplayer part too. The 'online race' button is now greyed out and so is the little green 'connected' icon. Also I now don't get the 'welcome' message and the info about the server maintenance. Something's changed in last hour or so because it was working fine as it should just before that. edit: Done a bit of digging and my 'rfactor.credentials' file seems to have disappeared. Luckily I have a backup, restored it and now the 'online race' and 'connected' icons are back, so's the welcome message but the info on server maintenance has gone and there's not many servers showing in the lobby.
Ok! You guys broke it. What do I have to do to fix it? I restored my .rfactor credentials and still the game does not work properly.... I have to put my email and password in every time I open the game. YES, I checked the box... and every time I go back it is unchecked. The gmotor mas file utility doesn't work, so I am no longer able to pair a car with a track for online racing. This begs the question, did you bother testing this "update" before it was foisted upon us?
You realize the server is down, you cant manage mods ID's so I fail to see how you could do anything else. Give it time should be back up soon. Or am I missing something ?

Same thing here. Every time I run the launcher, I have to put the email and password. When I go in Tab Purchase says "Purchase system temporarily down for maintenance" Sorry for bad english! =D
i have to log on as well every time (the pain of it)... but why is it when i join a room now it loads then it drops me out and says rfactor has stopped working ? ( not happy jan ) do i have to do a full reinstall ?
I can't get single- or multi-player to work now. I seem to successfully log in. A check of the Roaming folder shows the rFactor.credentials and rFactor.name files are updated. However, the rFactor.okay file is dated 16 December 2012-- so it hasn't updated. The program hangs in both modes, and I have to use Task Manager to close it. Edit: This is the case now, after I was able to log in and race in a league race just a few hours ago. Edit #2: Activating the program through the Purchase tab has solved the issue.
I have credentials still mine never logs out Why would creditianls change if I do not touch them. I am assuming when everyone says it is working I will just go online as normal. Certainly not going to do installs or touch files beforehand.
