Since the 218 update whenever I want to go racing on- or offline, during the loading of the track the loading bar stops at about 80%. i then have to alt+Tab to desktop then click on the rfactor still running at the taskbar. Next I get a popup saying: gMotor2 ERROR ERROR getting stats for texture OLIGHT01.ddsEROR loading texture OLIGHT01 for material TEST_LIGH. I click oke and then the next error popsup (twice) gMotot2 EROR ERROR loading global material TEST_LIGH And after clicking OK I get back in the game it finishes loading the track and I m able to start racing. Only thin is I get no water reflections on track after/during rain overcast or sunny (directly after rain) I'm running HD7700 with 13.4 driver all settings on full and 4X anastropic filtering, HDR and FXAA on.
We have two members in our forum that has the same problem. You have solved the problem? With that Vmod and appeared this problem? Babs
In my game Renault Megane Trophy II does not work when playing any track but if I uninstall Mercedes_SLS_2012_car game works fine.
It seems that the file of the Safety Car is corrupted, try to download another file of the Safety Car. Babs
donwloaded the sls mecedes safetycar again reinstalled it and until now the error is gone, thanks Babs. But the water reflection on track is still not visible maybe I'm expecting to much or do not have the right settings... The problem now is that I only know if the track is wet when I have a spray behind the car, and when there is starting to apear a dry line on track which is less dark than the wet track. So graphic suggestions are welcome. Edit: Turns out the reinstallation of the sls safetycar didn't do the trick the ISR megane tracks still give the error while loading
There an option called "Verify install" in the Mod Manager that should detect corrupt components. I think it's disabled by default, but I'm not 100% sure on that, so try enabling it if it's disabled. (Note that the verification only runs during component installation though)
