Silverstone is quite a long track now, so it has taken a while. It's in the later stages, IMS has begun already, because different people in track production do different things, but it won't really get going until Silverstone is released, and I can't give an estimate for that yet. Yes, we're planning to have the DW12 with IMS, but it could be ready before.
As I assume you are true to your word, and can't read this, then this reply is for everyone else. Yes, Indy Lights seems to be struggling. It's quite a shame as the racing is usually quite good. Not the only ladder to Indy, or series worldwide really, that has struggled in recent years. I haven't yet tried to license it yet, because I know they were discussing building of a new car for the series. I'd rather wait. Our production schedule is pretty full.
I have huge respect for IMS, but this is dwarfed by their recognition to give fans what they want. That's really what I am trying to do with rF2, I want it to be the sim that sim racers have been looking for, and some of the older guys in the community have been looking back to old sims, wanting some of this type of content.
We are constantly building out internal testing team. The worst we can say is no. http://imagespaceinc.com/contact/
What we've always tried to do is work code changes in when needed, such as the Turbo code when the F2 needed it. No promises of us getting every rule in, or correct (I have gaps in my knowledge), but we'll be working hard to do so.
Does mean you have licensed "IndyCar Series" or is it just the DW12 car and IMS? If so any other IndyCar specific tracks in the works?
Hello Mr. Wheatley, While I obviously can not speak for Banger, I am guessing he means something like the Nascar Truck Series. In North America people tend to call these types of vehicles "pickups". But who knows
That`s was one of my first simulations, have an actual version in rf2 platform is just awesome, i cant wait!
Indy 500 of any era is enough for me to buy a game outright. Getting it in the best simulator out there at the moment is like a birthday present wrapped in a Christmas gift. The Amiga game above was the first racing game I played and I don't think I've ever played a game as much since then. I've been on a break from rf2 for a few months but I'll definitely be back for this one.
