Just tried wet weather -- raindrops excellent and really like the spray. Trouble is the rain comes inside the tin-top cars.

hi guys, is there any way to reduce the size of lcd display on the top right? The size in build 218 is too distracting for me.
I'm playing on 720p resolution btw..

Download the lite installar. It´s only about 300 mb. Then add the cars you want.

Fix the updater asap, as you put it yourself, please.

Just to repeat my older post.....

    If someone is interested....
I've created a *zip-file which includes only the files that have been changed from Build 198 to Build 218.
    (Tested with total commander)

You just have to extract the Content into your gamedirectory.

Yot get the *zip-file here: Download

    Only 50 MB Size ;).

    Validation was OK.
Except the "core/data.path"-file. But that should be no Problem, it has only the Installationpath inside.

Finally got around to updating to 218. Some questions:

Where are my old real road rubbered-in files saved? I saved everything from the old install and would like to copy these over to the new install.

Also, it seems strange that even though I did an install of the full "rFactor2_ContentBuild_218" there was nothing in the Packages folder. I expected the Cars: Corvette C6.R, Marussia MR01, Renault Clio and Tracks: Lime Rock, Malaysia to be there after the install. Not a biggie since I copied my old Packages content over to the new install but shouldn't they have already been there?

Your real road rubbered-in files should be in the same folders as your setups.

As the "rFactor2_ContentBuild_218" comes with some pre installed content there's no need to also have their component (rfcmp) files in the Packages folder. In fact I leave the Packages folder for just vmods and any stuff I make, for any installation of separate downloaded content I usually point Mod Manager to my rF2 download folder.

Noticed in replay mode - and possibly in car - that the shadow under cars disappears, making them look as though they float on the track. Also the car in replay looks to have a much more detailed LOD than the track in some instances - exacerbatimg the disconnected look.

Devs are now talking about releasing another build yet we never even got the auto update fixed for the last one. Not really happy about that...

198 had the bug. I've posted multiple times to download 218 lite and install it over the top of your install. :)

I'm driving the Spark F1 at Mid Ohio. Should my mirrors be black? I've skipped a few updates but thought that got fixed. Somebody please save me a search and toss me the short answer.

P.S. Thanks MJP for the help with real road.

Yes that problem was fixed with the latest versions (v1.49), cars are now separated from the tracks. You no longer need the old 1960's world Class Racing rfmod as it contains outdated content.

It looks like temperature in weather options does not do anything at this point? I run F3.5 in Sepang with 0 degrees and with 35 degrees - set identical lap times.

Just to double check, are reflections and specular broken in Devmode? My track shows up as intended in viewer.exe but in Devmode everything looks like it is velvet :p
