Because there's something wrong with Weather Underground? http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/hdfForecast?query=52.07,-1.01
Yeah, that's what I thought - is there a way to manualy select Potterspury instead ? Edit: guess new GPS coordinates would do it
Yes, you need to alter the GPS coordinate to point to another location (like WiZPER propose 52.08319855,-0.88903427), until they remove the Gremlins from there station at Towcester
hmm, strange. i get on regulary basis a weahterunderground api usage alert. i have only 1 api active, and is setup on every 300 seconds! And also, the server is offline between 00.30 and 08.00. Small bug or use somebody elke using my api?
Could you please give me more detail to be able to figure out the issue ? What do you do to be able to have the crash ?
Sorry, my bad. I didn't notice I had another instance of the Weather Tool running. You could maybe implement a check on startup looking for another running WeatherServer.exe process?
Please could you describe me the procedure and what you see. It will be easier for me to make a quick fix. Thanks
Hi Gerald One picture hopefully says more than words... View attachment 14746 The dedicated server is set to stop/paus the server when no one is logged in. So when the first persons logs in the State change from STOPPED to RUNNING as I have Auto start checked. The tool then do one successfull api call to Weather Underground, but after that it doesn't continue polling the api. If I change "Ask server every:" by just one second or change location and press Apply it works correctly until the last persons logs out. It doesn't matter if it is every 173s or 10s update There is no difference if I have Radar image activated or not. Hope you can solve it, thanks in advance. /Henrik
I see an unexpected error in your screenshot. Can you translate it to me please? Additionnally, in the previous post before this one, you spoke about an issue when restarting the session. Is this a new issue, or two way to reproduce the same bug ?
Here the fix. Plugin 2.2.1 Available (only the plugin DLLs have been updated) - Fix a bug: the weather server stop to call website when the dedicated server is set to "be paused when there is no human player on it". Code: "Pause While Zero Players":true,
Big thanks, now it seems to be working! Regarding the fault message, I think that is what you discussed earlier that Weather Underground not always answers. The text can be translated into Timelimit has been exceeded. Again, thanks for quick support!! /Henrik
Hi Gerald. Yesterday it was raining and stop raining during all the race. We realise that the changes were too much sudden. It was like if we were opening and closing the shower. Is there any way to make a transition between rain and no-rain and vice-versa? And as always, thank you very much for your effort.
That's the purpose of the "Smoothing weather change"-parameter you can use. This specifies how many seconds the weather transition takes. So if it is raining at the moment and the next call to Weather Underground returns "not raining", it takes this specified transition time to go from rain to no rain. I have set this at 100 seconds, with a WU-call every 200 seconds.
