Playing on tv monitor?

    Will the game run through the hdmi, or only from the monitor output

    Sorry for the possibly dumb question, just want to chech before struggling to connect

    As long as your graphics card and TV both have the HDMI connections, you will be able to use that for the output of your graphics card.

    A word of caution, since I remember someone mentioning it in another forum. TV monitors are said to have quite some output latency or lag (sometimes falsely referred to as input lag), due to their postprocessing of the picture. I cannot say, I have checked that, since I never tried using such setup. But at least in theory it makes sense to me.

    I'm using a 32" Samsung HDTV. No ghosting or shadowing, no lag. The TV's post processing does not add any lag. I'm using Normal post processing setup though, since others are ruining the color or just too much for gaming. The Games post processing setup is not that good IMO, too bright.
