hello not sure if this is a bug but when running HDR with my third 5870 it becomes washed out completely. When running only X-fire HDR works but system runs badly (stutter mainly even in the garage menu). I am running the latest beta driver from ATI. I also reinstalled the game clean and drivers as well my system i7 920 @ 3.8 12gigs 1600 ram evga x58MB three 5870's
**Not solved** with Tri Fire glad to see im not the only one! HDR is working in x-fire on my system, I am at a loss because Im not really a "computer person" but I know enough to get by but this has me stumped I think its rfactor related but this is an assumption
thanks for posting hope this get solved it is a big part of the eye candy btw epic system you got there!
Clockit what kind of 7970s u have? How is the fps scaling, and the stuttering when going from 2 cards to 3? What are the temps of the cards? What kind of case and motherboard do you have?
as far as my system goes card one temps does not exceed 74c cards 2 and 3 are in the mid to lower 60's. Afterburner shows 99% usage on all three cards and cpu temps are very good as well. I haven't checked the two cards since going to the new ati driver ill have to try later or tomorrow

Awesome rig clockit, I am so jealous of your 3 1440p monitors wow!, and nice temps skeletele. I should receive my PSU either today or tomorrow then can start testing. I will be doing all tests with official drivers 12.10, 13.1 w/ 12.11 CAPS, and 13.2. I will be doing all tests in single, dual, and tri card configurations. I will be doing all tests in single, and triple screens w/ multi-view. If anyone would like me to do specific tests with certain graphics settings, aa settings, resolutions, drivers, etc etc just make me a list with all the details. I will also have information with frame times, the amount of time between each single frame, which means you get a very clear picture of the stuttering situation which seems to be pretty horrible when you combine 3 things: low-ish frame rates, tri monitor, and dual cards. I have also heard that, un-like in single screens where the 3rd card can help take away dual card stutters, that this doesn't occur in triple screen mode . Should I start a new thread?
Same error here !!!!! Trying to run rF2 with a 3xCrossfire 7970 3Gb, imposible to activate Hdr this is what I get View attachment 5835 I have tryed this in Windows 8 Windows 7 Windows 8 XP SP3 compability ( Works !!!! but computer switc to one GPU no crossfire ) I have another question. When I run the game with: 1 Gpu Video Sync is set at 60 FPS 2 Gpu Video Sync is set at 120 FPS 3 Gpu Video Sync is set at 180 FPS What can I do to Sync at 60 FPS with 3xCrossfire Thks
Quick update, I got my psu yesterday, did tests on drivers 12.10, with 1 card 1 screen, 2 cards 1 screen, 1 cards 3 screens, 2 cards 3 screens. So far what I learned, smoothness and scaling are pretty good, between 1 screen and multi-screen, between 1 card and 2 cards, BUT, when you combine multi-GPU together with multi-screens, the experience is HORRIBLE and un-playable, it looks like 10 fps, like a 1995 computer trying to play a game from today! I will lower the graphics in order to test multi-gpu + multi-screens + high frame rates, but at lower frames all games are completely un-playable when combing multi-GPU with multi-cards. Maybe this will go away once I disable the feamerate killing super sampling.
Yes it's been proven by many, that many stutters brought on by 2 cards, go away once you add a third card. However, my testing so far has only been with 2 cards. I know the 3rd card many times smoothens out single screen, compared to just 2 cards, but I never heard of that also holding true on a tri-screen setup as you have indicated. You have given me hope! What sort of framerates are you getting? By the way, this whole "everything works great until you combine 2 cards with 3 screens" phenomenon, seems to happen in all games, including RFactor 1, GT Legends, and Battlefield Bad Company 2. I will also have Raceroom Experience in further tests. I will start a new thread, I have hijacked this thread from the OP, my apologies.
it all depends on the cars and tracks take croft with 370 i was seeing frames @ 100 to as low as 45 @ the pits 13.1 driver
Ok and when using multi-GPU in combo with multi-screens (eyefinity) did the game have VERY bad stuttering/frame skipping when frames would be at around 45? If so, did it literally look and feel like 10 fps, even though it says 45??? That's what mine does (again, only tested 2 gpus not 3)
