    Just can reach a 3:02:111.
I think my Setup is ok. Car drives very stable in corners. I can reach 218 Kph (135 mph) on the Oval.
Is that ok? Any tipps for a good setup on this track? :p

Protrax; is that with a rubbed in track or not?

Eventhough it's a "simple track", you get faster as you drive more there.......
At first, I was happy to get below 3,03 doing 218 kph, now (on a rubbed in track also) I drove a 3,00,616 without a tow just yesterday with the same setup.

I can notice myself going on the throttle earlier coming out of (or in) the parabolica (as seen on the marshal stand, first right there, now a 50 meters before) and coming out of the second lesmo I carry more speed (as seen on my speed right under the tunnel; 199 first, now on a good one, 203) and that carry's a lot following the long straight that comes up then.

Nice way to get through the lesmo's faster is in race, when someone is 1,5 seconds behind you and you think "I'm okay" and turning out of the lesmo's, he's 0,3 seconds behind you; you MAKE yourself go faster through it :)

What's your name on the server; I'll send yo my setup on which I did the 3,00

Ooow, low rubber, then you are around my time (not that I'm fastest ;) ) but that's not way to slow.
Look at the timesheet earlier in this topic; I know at least two of the 59'ers were made by towing and bumping, I suspect the two following were too but don't know for sure.

    Its not about saving.
Some of my lap times did not appear at all on the screen and the incar timer didnt work.
This happened in ARI server and at Birtwell's server (F3=Fun or something similar) who also runs Mauro's mod and 10k Monza.
At sometime I had a lap time of 4.50 (!) so obviously timer didnt stop at finish line.
This changed when we procceded to next stage i.e. I had lap times at Practice, no lap times at quali and the opposite I think.
Luckilly at all races lap timer worked ok.
As I tried it in two different servers I suppose its something from my rig but cannot figure what, as I havent changed anything on my system, intalled or uninstalled.
Come to think of it Ill have a virus scan when I get home.

Btw I tried the eve against the spark at Monza.
Both with default setup, eve was easily 3 sec faster.

Guilty as charged, anything lower than a 2 59 5 is more than likely a draft lap.

If you find yourself up by half a second up at Rettifilo (approaching parabolaca) and then over a second down by the end of the lap. Then your either F'd up badly or the fastest time is a draft.

I would imaging that drafting in qualifying for the big race is not allowed.

You've never used Trackir then? you don't need three monitors.I personally don't like the virtual mirrors
    and Won't use them.

Trackir basically tracks your head movement.
I have the offical Trackir Pro 4 unit, which comes with the camera and baseball cap clip,
i've had this for about three years and mainly used it for flightsims.

    Cameras are preaty cheap nowdays.
It doesnt have to have big resolution cause all it does is track your head movements.
If I remember well, I paid something like 10 (!) euros for one.
