    Hi all,

Every now and again i get a black screen during a race which lasts for about 2 seconds. I would love to get rid of this, even though this is all very exhilarating  Has anybody come experienced similar problems?

    I own the following system:
    - i5 2500K
    - 8 GB DDR3
    - HD6870 1GB (even though 701MB is recognized but thats another problem :p)

Tried different settings (HDR on/off, FXAA on/off), but mainly everything on full except for opponent cars/track/shadows/effects.
    1680x1050 resolution.

    Cheers!

    Thijs

Hi I had the same problem, if you have your graphics card occed you should run it at stock values and the issues should be resolved. The card ran stable in all other games and previous rf2 builds, but since the 85 build the problem occurred.

I have not OC'ed my card. It has been slightly OC'ed by the manufacturer. That can't be the problem I think. Temperatures are really low as well (60-70) during gameplay. Might give underclocking a try :p

    Hi BrokkelPiloot,

I have had a similar problem. Do you have environment reflection as a "yes"? If so, try changing to a "no". I no longer get the black screen. Hope this helps.

    Thanks Brolo,

I will most certainly try that! I had a strange hunch that the reflection could be the problem.

    Cheers!
