IMHO this date is not valid anymore.

 

The question is: IF they do run over the initially estimated 6 months, for those of us who didn't purchase the unlimited plan, will they extend our online accounts so we still get 12 months from the date of 'Gold'?

I tried doing a search, and the only thing I could find was Scott Juliano saying that it is up to Gjon...

 

You are right. nothing has been confirmed about extending time of online licence.

 

I still see original RF as a very viable option while we wait.
It's a great product depending on the mods you choose. Nothing is more satisfying than taking the DRM's Zakspeed Capri around VLN Nordschleife. It also has a better looking replay system for now.
As to official release for RF2... Unless they're 'massive' amounts of data and fixes currently in the hands of the testers, I don't see it happening anytime soon...which is okay too. As they've said...it's a long term venture.
The Nissans still have opaque windows, flickering shadows and a whole host of anomalies.
At default, the Megane still feel like I'm on a frozen lake in one of the Nordic countries in winter...so NO...not even close AFAIC.
From what I'm guaging in this thread, the lack of a progress report (on where the beta stands) seems to be the driving force behind the malcontent.
I'm here to stay and prepared to wait for completion.
I knew that they'd be issues coming in.

 

The longer we wait, the more substantial the update.

I wouldn't get too excited. It could be a really nasty series of bugs. Often times fixing one creates more bugs.

No, as far as I know, the +1 year will be added onto the account sort of when it goes gold.

It's anwsered in threads earlier, around when they released the Beta.

I expect to get a year from the date of the release of the game. Anything short of that would not be acceptable.

But it was nuts in here around the release and pricing and structures and so on. I know i've seen something similar at least where they state something about the beta period and 18 months and if that would fail we maybe would get extra months and so on.

Don't hold me to it though if I'm wrong, cause I can be!
