Same with myself. I just run it all through Rf2 controls as this is a beta. My reasoning on this is the team is refining the project and it would be good if the community just all used Rf2 mixing for FFB effects. This may well allow the community to provide base line feedback for the software team which will aid developing good quality FFB within the game/sim itself, which would remove another program that may hog valuable FPS cheers Mike
Me too. I let Rfactor2 to configure my G27 FFB. The only change I've made is to set the multiplyer to 1.50 inside Rfactor Controller settings. Lower values seem too cheesy to me.
G25 here, cannot drive with defaults, very harsh for me, so Effects 50% Spring effect 10% Damper effect 10% Centering spring enabled Centering spring strength 50% Combined pedals off Allowing games to change settings on 900° rotation all smooth now
I think what you mean is you don't use the Wingman App. You do use a profile. It's just the default global device setting. I have tried this and it really doesn't feel bad at all, except for the fact that I feel no connection to the car all in this game- I feel the tires and the road but no connection to the seat at all.
100% (1:1 linearity with the sim- Nothing exaggerated or lost.) 0% Spring 0% Dampening Enabled Centering spring with 0% force (Don't remember why it is enabled and then set to 0.. I think it has something to do with preventing the app from enabling it.) Either way NO CENTERING SPRING.. It is important that the game be able to completely release all rotation tension OR change where the center pull is located to show slip and slide angles as well as grip limits. If you fake the return to center you get literal mixed signals telling you "The car is tracking true" Vs "You have damage and your car is pulling left HARD" 880° (Just to give me something to hit before the physical stops in the wheel, its a longevity thing) Finally the Allow game to change settings I want to leave on if the rF2 variable limiter actual works.. But I still think it doesn't
It doesn't work with Fanatec wheels. Thankfully with a fanatec wheel you can change rotation on the wheel itself.
