Yes you can come around and the corner is shady one lap, sunny the next... within reason. Time of day etc as a big effect on lighting too but its most noticable with HDR on which i notice a lot of people have to run with it off or dont like it in its current state.

Still think that Geoff Crammonds GP3 and 4 has the best weather system then any other game.

Not only do the shadows actually move across the track, but I have also noticed the shadows they cast as they move across 8) Very cool effect.

Yes and eventually this will be tied into track temperature. Simplest real-life example being oval qualifying, where someone can get pole simply because the track was shaded on their run.

I believe the original question, that was asked, was actually asking that say you're sitting in your car standing still. Will you be seeing the clouds themselves moving across the sky. Am I correct?

    Hope this helps...

You can see how the clouds are moving, sky looks different on every lap, especially when you set up time scale, it is really cool.

Yeah you might not notice it while just standing still in real time, maybe if you bump up the wind speed you might :p
But if you accelerate time you definately see it, and I believe they are completely seperate from the skybox so the shadows don't dissappear when you get to night time.

The best way to notice is to crank up the wind speed to 600km/hr or so!

I... had thought that wind wasn't actually implemented yet, though that might just be that it doesn't factor in to the car's behavior.

At 720kph clouds are not going like crazy across the sky, the green man is doing his groovy thing in a usual way...and trees and cows are not flying yet, so I guess we have to wait until working implementation of wind :)
