This is pretty simple, I am trying purchase the product and it is just hanging there on "Starting connection with commerce servers". Nothing more is happening, should I be expecting something to happen or has the oppourtunity to purchase this surpassed? Cheers
View attachment 1071 No offence buddy but that has to be the dumbest answer, how on earth could I post on this forum if my NIC wasn't working or plugged in. Does anyone have a REAL answer to this issue? Thanks. I have also added an attachment of the screen I am getting, cheers.
Revo99: You could refrain from such comments as he is making a legitimate suggestion. You could have a laptop on which you are posting? OT: How long have you waiting? Restarted pc/router/modem? Firewall configured?
There have been cases when people connect through wireless connection, but could not complete purchase as their LAN adapter has been disabled. All privatebrian is saying, enable your LAN adapter even if you use wireless
Ok I'll try to refrain, right now I am playing FSX online with a friend In Melbourne I am in Adelaide, therefore my Internet connection is working. Since I have started flying with him aproxiately 2 hours ago I have had this window open, it is still not connecting so I can make a payment. I am however on a desktop connected via Wireless to My Billion 7800N which is constantly active and functional. I understand what you are saying and yes my LAN adapter is disabled I will enable it and try again. Although I think that it shouldnt need to be active as the Internet connection and DNS settings are forced through the WLAN NIC. I will let you know how I go. Thank you, but next time someone makes a coment about a LAN adapter straight up I think they should be more specific, your following answers were more specific. Cheers.
Ok Now it is working, I aplogies for my comment however I think it is still valid. You shouldnt need to have your LAN card Enabled to Purchase something over the internet even if your computer is connected Via a Wireless Interface. Thanks.
I agree, but i had the same problem.Turned out it was because i had not got my network controller enabled,Anyway pleased to here you have sorted it out.
There have been some changes in this area, with the next update, test this situation again and let me know if it makes more sense.
