2 x GTX 275 driving triples at 5040x1050 with SLI Surround mode. The framerate is hurting... in the 30-40 range and there's aliasing galore. Actually the framerate was closer to 15 until I found the FF tweak for older wheels in KnownIssues.txt
FYI, I am running triple screen no problem on a single 6970. When clicking multiview that also works but I dont yet know how to get in the rfmod file and change the camera file for the cars FOV.
No luck for me with Multiview - just one screen works. I run and i5/6950/16gb so it's not a question of horsepower. 11.8 ATI drivers as well.
Derek, I did the same as in rf1, set screen res to 5970x1080 and click multiview. FOV needs slight adjust to have the monitors line up better but it seems to be going for me.
Running dual monitors--photographer--but not using Multi View. Game takes multiple attempts to start. Secondary monitor shows flickering then 'rFactor2 has stopped working' error message. Sometimes takes two tries, one time took seven tries for game to run.
Running a single 5850 (overclocked), on 3 x 22" screens, with bezel management the resolution is 5300x1050. Framerate is ok, probably on par with if not a little worse than pCARS, but doesn't look as pretty. Multiview is broken, both side screens are black but I was expecting that as it never worked with rFactor. Replays are broken, it squishes 3 screens worth of view into a single screen. The most amazing thing is instant replay (pressing R during race) works across 3 screens but has the SAME problem with the bitmap overlay for replay controls as rFactor! Is this just a spruced engine? I'm surprised to see this flaw come across to a brand new game. I understand this is a beta, but does anyone in the dev team actually have 3 screens? LFS had fantastic triple screen support years ago, it can't be that hard to replicate something similar today. We need options for screen angle, bezel management, HUD and GUI should acknowledge bezel management as well so we don't lose information over the bezels.
Bumping thread in the hope someone from ISI can give us an indication of when SLI/Crossfire compatibility will be implemented... We might be the minority but Triple screens is an important feature that has been touted since development began.
Make sure you have the multi view box "unchecked" ... that is for rendering screens independently and is unavailable at the moment. This thread is really in relation to poor performance when using Nvidia Surround or Eyefinity and the lack of dual gpu support.
You shouldn't have to anymore. Just set the Vertical FOV in the games display setting and it goes from 20-100°. However not being able to change the OrientationOffset so the horizon moves down is annoying me..
Saphire 6950 2 GB. I5 2500K unclocked. 6 GB RAM At maximum settings 25 FPS. 5760x1080 I´m used to play over 100 FPS in iRacing.
Yeah I'm used to 180-250 in iracing and minimum 75fps in Dirt 3, really looking forward to them sorting RF2 because what I've played of it on a single screen I'm loving!
