Tim I haven't even gotten to the purchase screen it says "Starting secure connection with commerce servers." but just stays there is there another problem... maybe my install was duffed?
No it's probably still lasting effects of the problems we had. I would try tomorrow. Also, I think none of you having the greyed out issue are having it for the same reason this FAQ entry was initially started. Reactivating may not fix that, which means waiting for Gjon to do his magic.
I have a paypal receipt and the transaction status is "completed" but I don't have any emails from ISI at all and my rFactor says I don't have a license so I have no idea if it's actually gone through.
If you have a PP reciept then you likely paid us but weren't returned by PP. Gjon is working a late night tonight trying to tie things together.
Yes, just like you need to pay for single player Skyrim It's an option - you can pay for the game now and start with beta - in this case it works like pre-purchase but you get something to play with in the meantime. Another option is to wait until it's really done and released.
OK so its 12:45pm and I'm still not getting past the "Starting secure connection with commerce servers." What the hell is going on, I really don't think this is a sever issue but more likely an installer is issue please someone from ISI shed some light on this.
Try enabling you lan device in windows internet connections options. It worked for me. Check out this topic: http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.p...erce-servers.-No-network-connection-attempted. Post: http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.p...ction-attempted.?p=27436&viewfull=1#post27436 I hope it helps. I Also need to have LAN device activated in order to play :O, i use wireless router and should need this btw
we are in 2012 arn't we what is up with this rather old hat workaround . C'mon ISI sort this out ASAP please. I know you are busy but please look at this> I don't have the option to enable my LAN Network so until its sorted the install is rather useless.
Are you closing the launcher and re-opening it? Have you tried resetting your internet connection? Your LAN should have nothing to do with it, mine doesn't. You're also posting in a completely incorrect thread which does not describe your problem at all.
Hi Tim, i had the same symptoms and this did the trick for me. Sorry if its not the correct place to post this. Cheers.
ahh, thank god for the search function! Had a break, formatted, logged in and wondered "wtf"! Now im of to shred some virtual tyre
