But we need to use all 4 or 5 controllers. Wouldn't this solution prevent windows from seeing the device and us from using it?
You can't get around 4 controller limit but you can use any 4. The problem is rF2 only identifies the FIRST 4 controllers. So with this program you disable all then re-enable only those 4 controllers that you want to use...at least in theory is this how it goes, like I said I didn't test it.
Thank you ISI for upping the controller max from 4 to 6 devices, I think a lot of people will appreciate this greatly!
Old thread but i guess it relates, I have a SRW-S1 i use as a button box and for the life of me the controller setup menu doesn't register the S1 as being plugged in there for cant set any button commands to it......Any suggestions ? I remember in Simraceway when i had the S1 pluged in before setting the wheel direction and throttle/brake/clutch it would bug out as its 1/2 seeing the "throttle" pot that I use as a hand brake. Either way trying to unplug everything else and run JUST the s1 by itself it still doesn't allow me to map any buttons to it. when i click detect it "sees" the s1 but claims no controller file found Edit, never mind it saw the S1 in the pits and was able to set all buttons.
