The new rTrainer looks great and I can't wait to drive it!

But the lack of a ZRz or rF3 is almost enough to bring tears to my eyes. :(

Still looks more like a Chevron B16(side scoops) open and closed and not a lola T70 to me!

I also see 3 vintage open wheel cars of no particular heritage.

as well as 3 modern style open wheel cars of no particular heritage, and yes an Indycar style of car.

Panoz is nice. Will we have a sparky option physics wise?

A good start, but I am sure we will want more. Does this mean we are getting closer?!

I thought it was mentioned a while back that karts might not make initial release, so i wonder if this 'family photo' is representative of cars in the initial release

That's the direction I am thinking, but who knows for sure. Only the ISI boys. :)

I think I mentioned a while back that not all series might make the initial release--those that don't make the initial will come online as we get them finished to a state we're satisfied with. Also, after release we'll be updating series with new cars and tracks, as well as introducing other new series. So, like rF1, rF2 will be an ever growing product with new content, updates, etc. Long story short, if we don't have something you want initially, chances are we or someone else will bring it to you at some point :p

Edit: Also, there are some cars missing from these renders, too. So, you're STILL not seeing everything we currently have in store :D

I'm so hoping for more GT1 category cars next to the Nissan so it'll have some competition! Corvette C6.R maybe or the Murciélago R-SV... :)

I will not be using rFactor2 exclusively for F1. I think I will be content with the C6.R GT2.

Be good if we got the release date, even if that date is a few months away (which i reckon it is) but gives many of us a timeframe to build or upgrade our PC's :)

I am really looking forward to this :D I'm interested to see what the game will look like with textures/lighting/postfx, and trying out the new force feedback for myself.

I seriously have been holding out on upgrading my PC solely for rF2. I just upgraded from a DFP to a G27. I've been patiently waiting for last three(?) years and now I'm to the point where I'm impatiently waiting but waiting nonetheless.

What nicely modeled A-arms you have there on the open wheelers.. Any chance those might move, bend and break in the course of a bad day?

Also, not a huge Off-Roading fan but the inclusion of one or two would make my feel better about the rF2 capabilities on dirt.

Indeed nice shadows as well, also good question! Will we be seeing suspension movement? Compressing springs and movements from the arms? I remember in the old but still nice 1nsane the suspension-movement was awesome, a bit dated now yes but still very nicely done. What my biggest hope is for rF2 are better effects, such as much more realistic backfire-effects and such, the more ways the cars look living, the better!

Anyways nice renders and an awesome collection of cars! Although it burns a bit in the chest seeing that the 'classic sports-cars' isnt actual replicated Lola T70's.
