I think an Off-Road model is missing too, just a hunch!

 

One of the very first screenshots of RF2 was an off road course, so i guess we get some off-roaders at some point.

The saloon car has me confused. We were told there was vintage stock cars but that doesnt seem like a model of one, and someone said it was a Brazilian car. At first i thought it was a vintage Trans-am racer (Javelin or something)

 

All beautiful, but in which month I will be able to enable RF2 on my computer?

What? No F-Duct on the F1 car?!! I was looking forward to seeing what kind of cockpit rigs people would come up with for activating it!

 

Yes there is F ducts but do they work is the thing we need to no + we need to limmit boost from eg kers or FPA they have a boost button aswell.

Anyone saw screenshots from GT5 made in HQ mode (or whatever is named)?
I guess not, if so many of you is excited by such kind of renders.
But maybe it is some kind of art which I don't understand.

 

I just noticed that the steering wheel on the kart is floating. Is that the way the model is in-game, or did the connecting piece just not make it into the render (i.e. forget to unhide?)? Just curious, not being critical...

Also, I noticed that all of the open-wheeled cars have detachable steering wheels. I'm curious how this feature will be used in-game.

 

Maybe they are not finished yet?

 

I hope you can throw the steering wheel out of the car when you end up in the gravel

 

Considering there are no textures, I'm pretty sure what people are excited about is the variety of cars shown.

As for 3rd-party rendering (rather than in-game shots, which tend to be less detailed/crisp), mod makers have been doing that for years. I see no reason to think everyone but you is being hoodwinked.

Detachable wheels... well, a lot of mod spinners have a helmet sitting on the nose, haven't seen that in-game yet...

 

I think it is inspired on the Renault.

 

Yes. I'm excited about number of cars too.
I referred to renders itself which are boring imo.
