    yes, just enabled both override options and active state, and manually adjust player index to find the player you would like to watch(or set to -1 for unspecified).

    Note, click either apply or save button on API config dialog will always restart API, so there is no need to manually click "Restart API" afterwards (and "Reload" option also triggers API restart).

    v2.1.9 - New Spectate mode
    https://github.com/s-victor/TinyPedal/releases/tag/v2.1.9

    Instead of manually config player index for spectating, user can now double-click on player list to spectate specific player.
    upload_2023-7-15_0-4-45.png

    User guide:
    https://github.com/s-victor/TinyPedal/wiki/User-Guide#spectate-mode

    2.1.9 (2023-07-14)
    • [New]Spectate mode
      • Add "Spectate" tab that is accessible from main window.
      • Click "Enabled" or "Disabled" button to quickly toggle spectate mode on & off.
        Note, spectate mode can also be enabled by setting
        "enable_player_index_override" option to "true"
        in "Shared Memory API" config.
      • While Spectate mode is enabled, double-click on a player name in the list
        to access telemetry data and overlay readings from selected player.
        Alternatively, select a player name and click "Spectate" button.
        Current spectating player name is displayed on top of player name list.
      • Select "Anonymous" for unspecified player,
        which is equivalent to player index "-1" in JSON file.
      • Click "Refresh" button to manually refresh player name list.

    Hey Guys, new to tiny Pedal. Is this live telemetry Gadget FPS intensive?

    Or reported someone frame drops since using these Overlays?

    Simhub Dashboards are very FPS intensive Gadgets.

    So thats why Im Asking.

    Other telemetry Like SimUtils.dk Race Manager isnt working anymore

    Thank you

    Hi, each tyre temp display (in its default setting) represents the Outer, Center, Inner of each four tyres.

    The top 2 rows of temp display are surface temp display.
    The bottom 2 rows of temp display are inner layer temp display.

    You can find all widget functionalities from user guide here:
    https://github.com/s-victor/TinyPedal/wiki/User-Guide

    The link and additional info are also accessible from first post as well as project home page.

    You can also access widget config dialog to see how each option works.

    Hi @svictor, since a teammate of mine has send me a link to tinypedals ive always loved using it, but some days ago i had to reverify my game files and tinypedals stopped working. I have reinstalled tinypedals some times already, same goes for the sharedmemoryplugin. The problem is that it won't capture the game (for example the picture when autohide is off while driving the hud appears like this). It cant be sharedmemory, because motec still works fine with it. Do you have any idea what the solution to this could be? Thanks

    Hi, it seems that either "Enable active state override" (note, this option should never be enabled unless absolutely necessary) or "Enable player index override" enabled (this option is also controlled by Spectate Mode). Both options should be turned off for normal use. Check "Shared memory API" dialog in main menu see if it's the case, and use "Reset" button to reset.

    You may also want to double check shared memory dll version, as some app may install an old version dll.

    You can also try create a new preset and see if problem solves.

    Thanks for the help, but none have fixed it... To be sure, is the sharedmemoryplugin from march this year the most up to date?

    Both the old v3.7.14.2 and the new v3.7.15.1 from this post work fine as I have tested (crewchief also installs newest version).

    One thing I forgot to mention is that TinyPedal stops data updating if not receiving data from game for at least 5 second (such as game pause or game crashed or lost connection from server).
    And RF2 has an hidden option "Pause If Focus Lost" in rFactor 2\UserData\player\player.JSON file (this only affects singleplayer), which if it is enabled, then every time you alt-tab out(or game loses focus) the game will be auto-paused, and TinyPedal will stop updating data after 5 second. So if "Pause If Focus Lost" is enabled, manually set its value to false to disable it.

    Another thing to check is rFactor 2\UserData\player\CustomPluginVariables.JSON file (sharedmemory plugin setting is stored inside, open with notepad), by default it should look like following:
    Code:
      "rFactor2SharedMemoryMapPlugin64.dll":{
        " Enabled":1,
        "DebugISIInternals":0,
        "DebugOutputLevel":0,
        "DebugOutputSource":1,
        "DedicatedServerMapGlobally":0,
        "EnableDirectMemoryAccess":0,
        "EnableHWControlInput":1,
        "EnableRulesControlInput":0,
        "EnableWeatherControlInput":0,
        "UnsubscribedBuffersMask":160
      }

    Thank you very much, it works as normal now! Due to these fast replies everything is back to normal just in time for my league race tomorrow! The userdata file indeed was the problem. It had sharedmemoryplugin disabled in the customplugins json.

    Maybe try to untick "Show Driver Name" in the Relative Config ...
    But it will surely remove the all Name/Nick column.

    And i think it is server dependent, there is an option to force "Real name" in server.
    If that option is set you won't have the NickName on the Server or in TinyPedal either.

    Sorry.
