    Thanks, I will try it.

I was able to get the time log working, but not the Live. It gives me the following error (see Attachment)
I'm going to try the version you passed to see if it does the same.

Unfortunately, I don't know why that error appears and what it means.

Don't worry, i've just used the 2.0 Py and works perfectly! Thanks for your help!

BTW, I think the error has to do with the permission for the application and the ports, because the error occurs when someone enters the server, then the LiveTimming crashes.

It is solved with Py2, it worked perfectly for rF1 and AMS1

    Thanks again.

I have 3 rfactor2 servers on a single machine, and I only see the live timing of server 1, how can I make it visible on all 3? Thank you.

Try using global memory. Make sure you are starting all rF and r2la instances from same windows user (preferably as admin).
    • global memory option:
      • Turn off r2la and rF2 server.
      • Set DedicatedServerMapGlobally value to 1 in rFactor 2\UserData\player\CustomPluginVariables.JSON file.
      • Set read_global_memory value to 1 in rF2 Log Analyzer ver. x\web2py\applications\r2la\live_timing_settings.json file.
      • Restart r2la and rF2.
      • If still not working, try to start both r2la_live_timing.bat and rF2 Dedi "as an administrator" (with admin privileges) in windows.
      • Set both back to 0 if it will not work.

If global memory does not help, maybe try older version of r2la, with and without global memory option - rF2 Log Analyzer ver. 2.058.45

    Hi Nibo !

I have saved many PTS presets ... too many ... and I'd like to sort them. How can I delete them ? I can't find where they are saved...

    Thanks !

There is no way to delete presets from r2la UI. But presets are saved in r2la_settings.json and can be imported with championships into new r2la instance. You can unzip new instance of r2la somewhere, then make copy and edit your r2la_settings.json (remove presets that you don't need in text/code editor), import edited r2la_settings into new instance with all your champs. And use this new instance from now on.
Open r2la_settings.json in some text/code editor, find "user_points_presets" list and remove all {...} preset dictionaries that you don't need from the list. Watch to not leave extra commas between {..} presets.

    Hello,
We see that if driver change his car during the session, tool doesnt record fastest lap of second/third car.
Is that already known issue. I can help with more data if needed.

Its known, but nothing can be done. As far as I remember rF2 only records latest car data to xml. Even if it records all cars, r2la can only represent the first <driver> block for every unique driver name it finds.

Tire info will be visible if its in xml. Most probably that xml has no tire data.

Hi! Does anyone have any working examples of livetiming widget for Log Analyzer? I saw in help file Live Timing cross-domain ajax request examples and wondering if someone uses it.

    Dear Nibo.
r2la is a great tool. I have used it for a few years and it was no trouble.
But yesterday's race result had error for the first time.
This result file cannot be opened by r2la's latest version however old version (ver. 2.058.39) can be opened.
I would like to open this file with the latest version if possible.
    Please teach me a solution.

    Error message

Its line 4747, somebody wrote non-ASCII characters in chat.
Open xml in some text/code editor, remove either whole line 4747 or that stuff after "yashima:" and before "</Chat>", save changes. Press refresh in r2la to reload file.
    Code:
    <Chat et="3505.7">yashima: ???????????????????????</Chat>

    Thank you so much Nibo!
I was able to open a result after deleted this line.
Somebody..., that's Yashima is me. lol
I didn't have any problems with the non ascii characters before, so I didn't worry about it.
I'll be careful from now on.

Please continue to create wonderful tools.
    Thank you.

For some reason, a practise session (that ran to completion <edit - see next post - it appears the weekend was restarted before the session ended….>) earlier today was not recognised. Refreshing (signed in as admin), stop-starting etc. have failed to make it visible.

Is there any way of importing session results (I’m assuming the rf2 log file was correctly saved by our dedi….)?

…I’ve just looked through the xml and it appears that one of the drivers voted through a Restart Weekend before the practice session ended. Would this have destroyed records of laps completed earlier in the session?

Yes, probably that's what happened. If data is not put by rF2 in xml, nothing you can do.
