Released Reiza Pack Out Now!

Man, hopefully the whole classic tracks come to rF2.

 

Why don't they release the tracks and then the cars? I believe they would motivate the purchase of the reiza pack and those who already have it wouldn't think it was bad either.

 

Well I hate to say I told you so but uhhhhh. Yeah.

 

Is it really so important for stuff to be updated frequently in order for people to feel good about it. Personally there is literally nothing I hate more than Windows 10 updates. And this is also true about any other updates. Why not just stop using updates as little dopamine fix, illusion of work being done and a form of advertisement. And roll updates only when stuff gets developed further to respectively mature level, a significant step FORWARD ?

 

While I wholeheartedly like the idea, I think Reiza have other irons in the fire. A totally different future than maintaining DLC for multiple platforms.

 

What are you talking about? (I mean, the tracks and cars being updated for rF2, or something else?)

 

No chance, I believe.
Getting the updated packs is already very good.
I just don't feel happy with the delayed release of the updated tracks pending the update to the cars. Why?

 

Patience is missing in today's society.

It's true. But how much more patience do you need, my friend? Reiza pack has come out 4 years ago, and since then, there have been zero update. What you are doing here is pure ignorance of reality. Blame it on the change of the world, but nowadays you don't have to wait for most of the things for weeks, months, years to get. I'm a Gen Xer or what, but you need to accept these things.
In this specific case, they had the time, but somehow they didn't manage to do it. And it's a shame, patience or not.

 

The content is there, we're just waiting for a graphical update. Nothing game stopping. They have a modder working on it for barely 8 months. I prefer having a good update than something rushed out the door because we couldn't wait anymore.

 

Yes, and I use it regardless. But there is no rushing here, I think. Only justifiable expectations.

 

Many or all the car content is unusable due to big sound issues : thats a big issue.

I can't wait for Ibarra's update.

I think they should have started working on an (big) update much earlier, around the release of the new sound engine.

Even if it's late, I'm glad it's happening, but frankly there's no shame in wanting it to happen fast, as long as you don't harass the developers...

Those of us who follow Reiza development know to apply some extra patience, thus reducing our disappointment.

Also, I imagine the person working on car updates may not have expertise in audio (which can certainly add extra time to the process). They may also be going deeper into the updating process than the minimum required.

Besides that, there's always AMS1 to help quench one's thirst for Reiza content.

 

I'm sure you'll agree, the strong global slowdown but in particular the content drop slowdown on rFactor 2 makes the Reiza Pack update all the more timely and almost necessary.

We would have something to eat (car content, at least several, is knocked out, due to major sound problems).

 

cause they feel bad there are more users in rF2 than for AMS2....simple logic, they have released their glorious AMS2 1.5, and nobody cares here. They dont want the Reiza rF2 bundle destroys their poor AMS2 1.5 update about the hype, that's all.

 

hm, steam charts say the opposite. 516 vs. 378 avg. players in the last 30 days, 1314 vs. 831 peak. players. Seems Reiza is doing not such a bad job.
