I am pretty sure that is a flatspot. Even if the FFB-Output is at 50Hz Samplerate. I bet if you speed up, the freq rises and its intensity.

Do you remember the 38Hz. Thats because of the max. rev's of the wheel. That bad stuff is from 17Hz up to 38Hz @ top speed.
Take a look at you "Tyre Wear" espicially FL. Something happend to the Tyre at the end of Straight 3-4 and in Turn 4. LockedUp or maybe a Jump?!?! I think it happened in Lap3. Watch this. Your FFB, keep an eye on Straight 7-8.

Also that cone shaped FFB on the Straights is a marker for a Flatspot.

Re flatspots: turn off tyre wear and test again.

I have with my DD2 from Fanatec also sometimes very strange vibrations, mostly when I adjust something on the Steering Wheel Range or the FFB.
    It sounds like that

But I also have another strange phenomenon. For example, when I drive the Porsche GT3 on Watkens Glen, which has a rough asphalt, I feel very good tyre scrubbing, because I set the smoothing ingame to 0 and in the Fanatec menu the interpolation filter to 2, which hardly filters out fine details. After a session change, the fine details are suddenly barely present and it feels like I increased the smoothing or FFB interpolation. This is totally annoying. I had the same with the Clubsportwheelbase V2, but I thought I was just imagining it.

This isn't the issue im trying to describe here. But I never had such issues, but there used to be various weird issues.

That has been a Fanatec/rF2 issue for years. Often occurs when repeatedly entering the pits to work on setup changes, or, as you noted, from changing sessions. I don't think any brand except Fanatec suffers from this.

Just to update you, we're aware of the issue and it's being worked on, seems to mainly effect high NM wheels, but you can probably feel it a little in most others.

Does this also relate to the loss of detail I described as if you increase the smoothing from 0 to about 7 and lose all the fine details like tyre scrubbing?

Good Evening and merry Christmas! Gota little cold and the family in the house. ;-)

I took a closer look at the FFT's of the torque and the associated slew rate and noticed something unusual there. At least I think so .... I've already made a mistake with the FlatSpots. Although it really looked like it.

I hope I can do it tomorrow, but we'll see.
