When you enter the server and there are many people like in LFM, the loading time is eternal and also the server becomes unstable and seeing banana cars is a shame for the simulator.
We've already established it takes a while to load the cars, a couple of times, but it aint that long. I've never experienced an LFM server becoming unstable during a load, and yeah i'd love for the cars to load with skins but I already did explain why that happens, but yeah i'd love it if that did'nt have to happen
Unstable? How Many people is in the server? We have done races with 50 drivers and many spectators without problems.
Is AI running ok in rainy conditions now? I have had problems with it not taking wet tires, and going fast anyway...
Post a thread here, tell us which wheel you're using, if you can show screenshots of your calibration screen in rF2 and your wheel settings outside the game too. https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?forums/technical-support.138/
AI now use correct strategy pit for tires appropriately and dont get caught in endles pitloops. Its been that way since a couple of updates now, and in the recent update it got even better as they solved the stabby on/off throttle and brake behaviour. Its so much better!
BTCC Content Update Just to let you know we have become aware of an excessive overheating bug with our BTCC cars. This issue is currently under review, with a view to a hotfix update being deployed by the studio when the issue has been rectified. Our apologies for any inconvenience caused.
And is the limit on rearwards movement of brake bias also being looked at on the BTCC cars? It used to have enough range to get whatever balance on the brakes you wanted, but now even fully aft the fronts lock up very easily.

On the Zandvoort National LMF server with 40 users when you press ESC to go to the box the game doesn't react until after 5 seconds and when you are in the box and you move through the setup folder the game doesn't respond for seconds so yes, the rFactor 2 servers are unstable when there are many people.
That might be allocated network bandwidth rather than server code? Or it might be server CPU (CPU slice if virtual)?
@Paul Jeffrey @Alex Sawczuk many incidents with Ai in the pits on Nordschleife every time the ia enter the pits there are many incidents look red car behind
I posted this in the technical forum but thought it might be of use here, too, because this just showed up after this patch. Driving the Formula E cars on London. Going down the straights with 100 accelerator, the engine overheating icon pops up. Is this expected? I've never seen it before with an FE car.
The delay that happens when you press ESC can be due to the replays saved by your rF2. ¿Have you the replays activated? Can happen because of external plugins too. I don't understand what you say about the setup folder We have done events with more than 40 users and VEC does too, and other comunities, without problems. Assure that rF2 servers are unstable with 40 users is a little too forward. rF2 server can be unstable or not depending of many things (server hardware, and bandwith, how is configured, the bandwith or the ping of the clients, etc). Many times it's possible that the problem is in the client side and he thinks that there is a problem in the server, because he has problems, but it's working well for the rest of the clients.
