Delivered and in my hands. Sweet!! One more question. Drivers. My old card was Nvidia GTX 950..new card is Nvidia GTX1050. What do I do about drivers? Plug the new card in and run it as is? Or do I need to wipe the old drivers and start fresh?

I'd say clean and start fresh, usually good idea now and then anyway.

@JustDave the simplest way as Juan says, is to run the latest nvidia installer and select 'Clean install' in its options. That'll probably be good enough.

Only if you later have issues would I consider going for something like DDU.

I don't think they do Drivers for Windows XP no more Dave :D, just kidding ;).

You might find Windows will automatically download and install the drivers for you. Which is very fine. I've let it do this many times myself with my cards never had problem. It might not be the latest version of the driver it gives you but works. Just keep your PC on for 5 minutes, have a cup of tea, and it will have it done for you. You might see your screen go black for a few seconds while it does it.
But if you go with the other option of installing them yourself, best not plug in your Internet cable to back of PC until you have finished installing it or Windows might beat you to it :D.

I don't know how long you want to extend the life of your system, but if you have 4 GB of RAM, try to get 4 GB more, in my case it was an improvement; if you already have 8 GB, I shut up.;)

I think the 4 gigabytes referred to the graphics card, not to the Ram memory, or that's what I understood

For that reason I mention it, I don't know how much RAM it has, which will be DDR3 for its motherboard, of course; I'm not talking about graphics card VRAM. If you already have 8 GB of RAM, I shut up.:)

I have 16 gig of ddr3 ram on my system. My old card had 2 gig v-ram..new one has 4 gig. It all worked fine, my computer ran everything fine, so hopefully, fingers crossed...it will be better than it was and everything will be fine again. :). Please. Everything will be fine..I miss my computer...it will be fine..:) It's funny how when something breaks you want it fixed,,just like it was! lol.. Hopefully my old computer will be back up and running with a fresh new card and all will be just like it was..but better!
